Van rental

At Meadens of Hythe, we are a Practical Van Rental franchise offering vans for rent at very competitive rates.

Our fleet consists of Transit Short Wheel, Transit Long Wheel Base and Luton Vans with tail lifts.

So if you are moving house or just have some furniture to collect we will have a van suitable to hire.

Prices start from £60 per day inclusive of VAT, Insurance and 150 miles free of charge. Excess mileage is charged at 7p per Mile + VAT

We do offer a 4hr Hire Period for £40. This is not able to be booked in advance though.

Identification required for renting a Van is as follows:-

Driving Licence Photo Card
Proof of Address
Driving Licence Check Code obtained from GOV.uk website www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

I have never felt so comfortable when buying and vehicle. Me and my wife decided to buy a motorhome for the first time, we had travelled from the West Midlands to Hythe to view a motorhome that caught our eye on autotrader.

From the moment I had booked the viewing I had given confidence, I had a call back within minutes regarding a question I had asked and given the answer which I found very impressive.

The vehicle itself was lovely, I was impressed with the full service history and look of the vehicle. It had been looked after. When looking around the vehicle we were given time on our own to look around, think and we weren’t pressured or felt under pressure, we were given the time we needed to make such a big decision.

Both Steve and Lee were friendly and professional and made us both very much at ease. I thank them both for their time and kindness while making a big decision and am grateful to them both.

One of few places open on the Easter bank holiday Monday which was very lucky, so glad to have found it. Not a huge selection, but may have just been because I needed it for the next day.
The entrance is a bit hidden, and you actually need to go towards the petrol station car wash, some extra signage might be good as we missed it at first.
